1. Membership Overview
Digital Privacy Sessions offers educational membership providing access to comprehensive digital privacy courses, resources, and member benefits. By joining as a member, you agree to these terms and conditions.
2. Eligibility & Application
2.1 Membership Eligibility: Open to individuals 18+ years old or age of majority in your jurisdiction who are interested in digital privacy education.
2.2 Application Requirements:
- Provide accurate contact and payment information
- Agree to use membership resources for educational purposes
- Commit to respectful participation in member community
3. Membership Benefits & Access
3.1 Course Access: Complete access to digital privacy education course materials, videos, and resources.
3.2 Member Resources: Access to exclusive member content, updates, and educational materials.
3.3 Community Access: Participation in member discussions, forums, and community features (where available).
3.4 Updates: Regular course updates and new content as it becomes available.
4. Payment Terms & Billing
4.1 Membership Fees: Annual membership fee as displayed during signup process, subject to any applicable discounts or promotions.
4.2 Payment Schedule: Annual billing cycle with payment due at time of signup and each renewal date.
4.3 Payment Methods: Credit card, PayPal, or other approved payment methods.
4.4 Currency: All payments processed in USD.
4.5 Automatic Renewal: Memberships automatically renew annually unless cancelled prior to renewal date.
5. Cancellation & Refunds
5.1 Cancellation by Member: Members may cancel their membership at any time by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
5.2 Refund Policy: Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis within 30 days of initial purchase, subject to course usage and circumstances.
5.3 Termination by Digital Privacy Sessions: We may terminate membership immediately for violations of these terms or other just cause. For paid memberships in good standing, termination may only occur for cause.
5.4 Access Upon Termination: Course access ends immediately upon membership termination or expiration.
6. Member Conduct & Responsibilities
6.1 Permitted Use:
- Educational use of course materials for personal learning
- Respectful participation in member community
- Sharing general privacy concepts learned (not proprietary course materials)
6.2 Prohibited Activities:
- Sharing, distributing, or reselling course materials or login credentials
- Recording, copying, or reproducing course content without permission
- Harassment or inappropriate behavior toward other members or staff
- Using membership access for commercial purposes without authorization
- Attempting to reverse engineer or extract proprietary content
6.3 Content Ownership: All course materials, videos, and resources remain the exclusive property of Digital Privacy Sessions.
7. Privacy & Data Protection
7.1 Member Information: We collect and process member information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
7.2 Course Progress: We may track course completion and engagement for educational improvement purposes.
7.3 Communications: Members may receive educational content, updates, and membership-related communications.
7.4 Data Security: We implement reasonable security measures to protect member information and course access.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Licensed Use: Members receive limited, non-transferable license to access and use course materials for personal educational purposes only.
8.2 No Distribution: Course materials may not be shared, distributed, sold, or made available to non-members.

9. Membership Modifications

9.2 Terms Changes: We reserve the right to modify membership terms with 30 days notice to active members.
9.3 Pricing Changes: Membership pricing may change for new members; existing members maintain current pricing through their renewal period.
10. Technical Support & Access
10.1 Platform Access: We provide reasonable technical support for course platform access and functionality.
10.2 System Requirements: Members are responsible for maintaining compatible devices and internet access.
10.3 Availability: While we strive for continuous access, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted platform availability.
11. Limitation of Liability
11.1 Educational Purpose: Course content is for educational purposes only and does not constitute professional advice.
11.2 Member Responsibility: Members take full responsibility for how they use, implement, or apply any information learned through the membership. Members are solely responsible for their own digital privacy and security decisions, practices, and outcomes.
11.3 Liability Limits: Digital Privacy Sessions liability is limited to membership fees paid. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
11.4 Individual Circumstances: Members are responsible for implementing privacy practices appropriate to their individual circumstances and assume all risks associated with their privacy and security choices.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the Law of Equity and common law principles, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through private arbitration or common law remedies, excluding admiralty, maritime, or statutory jurisdictions.
Both parties agree to conduct themselves honorably in all dealings related to this membership and commit to promptly correct any dishonor that may arise through good faith communication and equitable resolution.
