1. Program Overview
The Digital Privacy Sessions Affiliate Program allows approved affiliates to earn commissions by referring new members to our digital privacy education membership. By participating in this program, you agree to these terms and conditions.
2. Eligibility & Application
2.1 Standard Program: Open to individuals and businesses who promote digital privacy education and align with our values.
2.2 Sponsorship Program: Limited to influencers and content creators with 50,000+ followers, subject to manual approval and formal sponsorship agreement.
2.3 Requirements:
- Must be 18+ years old or age of majority in your jurisdiction
- Provide accurate contact and payment information
- Agree to promote our membership in accordance with these terms
3. Commission Structure
3.1 Standard Program:
- Starter (0-9 referrals): 20% commission
- Regular (10-49 referrals): 25% commission
- Advanced (50-149 referrals): 30% commission
- VIP (150-299 referrals): 35% commission
- Elite (300+ referrals): 40% commission
3.2 Sponsorship Program:
- S1 (50K-200K followers): 40% initial + 20% recurring
- S2 (200K-1M followers): 45% initial + 25% recurring
- S3 (1M+ followers): 50% initial + 30% recurring
3.3 Multi-Tier Bonuses: Earn 15% of commission totals from affiliates you recruit.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Payment Schedule: Net-30 payment terms from end of month.
4.2 Minimum Threshold: $50 minimum for payment processing.
4.3 Payment Methods: PayPal or bank deposit via AffiliateWP Payouts Service.
4.4 Processing Fees: All payment processing fees covered by Digital Privacy Sessions.
4.5 Currency: All payments made in USD.
5. Referral Attribution & Commission Eligibility
5.1 How You Earn Commissions: You earn commissions when someone you refer becomes a paying member of Digital Privacy Sessions. This happens when a visitor clicks your affiliate link or uses your coupon code, then purchases a membership within 90 days.
5.2 Attribution Window: 90-day referral window from initial click on your affiliate link.
5.3 First-Click Attribution: If a potential customer clicks multiple affiliate links within the 90-day window, the FIRST affiliate who referred them receives the commission credit.
5.4 Coupon Code Priority: When a customer uses a specific affiliate coupon code at checkout, that coupon code takes precedence over any previous link clicks. The affiliate who owns the coupon code receives the commission, regardless of previous link attribution.
5.5 Commission Eligibility:
- Standard Program: Commissions earned only on first-time membership purchases
- Sponsorship Program: Commissions on initial purchase PLUS ongoing renewal commissions
- Multi-tier bonuses: 15% of commission totals from affiliates you directly recruit
5.6 Self-Referrals: Affiliates cannot earn commissions on their own membership purchases or renewals.
6. Promotional Guidelines
6.1 Permitted Activities:
- Honest and accurate promotion of Digital Privacy Sessions
- Use of provided marketing materials
- Content creation that aligns with our brand values
6.2 Prohibited Activities:
- False or misleading claims about our services
- Spam email campaigns or unsolicited messaging
- Trademark or copyright infringement
- Promotion through adult, illegal, or inappropriate content
- Paid search advertising on our brand terms without permission
6.3 FTC Compliance: Affiliates must comply with FTC guidelines and disclose material connections in all promotional content. Affiliates take full responsibility for any FTC violations arising from their promotional activities and agree to indemnify and hold Digital Privacy Sessions harmless from any claims, damages, penalties, or legal actions resulting from the affiliate’s failure to comply with FTC disclosure requirements or other applicable advertising regulations.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Licensed Use: Limited license to use provided marketing materials for program promotion only.
7.2 Brand Guidelines: Must follow provided brand guidelines when using our logos, trademarks, or promotional content.
7.3 No Ownership: Affiliates do not gain ownership rights to any Digital Privacy Sessions intellectual property.
8. Program Modifications
8.1 Changes: We reserve the right to modify commission rates, terms, or program structure with 30 days notice.
8.2 Grandfathering: Existing affiliates will maintain their tier status during program modifications.
9. Account Termination
9.1 Termination by Affiliate: 30 days written notice required.
9.2 Termination by Digital Privacy Sessions: We may terminate an affiliate’s participation immediately for violations of these terms. For all other reasons, we may terminate participation with 30 days written notice, with or without cause.
9.3 Final Payments: Earned commissions paid within 60 days of termination.
10. Limitation of Liability
Digital Privacy Sessions liability is limited to unpaid commissions owed. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from program participation.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the Law of Equity and common law principles, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through private arbitration or common law remedies, excluding admiralty, maritime, or statutory jurisdictions.
Both parties agree to conduct themselves honorably in all dealings related to this affiliate program and commit to promptly correct any dishonor that may arise through good faith communication and equitable resolution.

13. Acceptance
By applying to or participating in the Digital Privacy Sessions Affiliate Program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
These terms constitute the entire agreement between Digital Privacy Sessions and program affiliates. Any modifications must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
